Just got home from picking this up.
When I picked it up, it worked fine.

Got home, it powers up OK, but the screen is garbled, mainly with the letter F and blotches of colors throughout the screen.

Not sure if I knocked something loose during transportation, and don't know much about monitors to know where to look.

I did disconnect and reconnect a bunch of components (PCB), but it still shows the garbled screen.

Game doesn't sound like its playing either.

Any suggestions?

the color blotches are probably because it needs degaussed...the letter F means there's a problem with the pcb, not the monitor....mine used to do that, but it was the letter G...i would jiggle the connector to the pcb and it'd work ok...

No luck. I pretty much just get changed scrambled screens, some with more Fs, some with less, but never fixed. The PCB board itself is in there tight, and not sure how to get it removed as the screw is in a place pretty hard to get to.

Odd mwhat can happen in a simple trip back from a person's place.

Not sure what to do next.

If it was working you might just have a connection issue at the boards, pull them and check the innerconnect at the back and clean all the connections inside and out.

Also check your voltages and grounds, in case an AR board has a poor connection.

if all the connections at the board is ok and the connector at the end has been pulled off and put back on (also try flipping that too)....

pull the power supply up and check the connections underneath, the wires on the bridge may be loose.. make sure all that stuff is tight under there. When i got mine, thats what the problem was, just got loose from moving it.

Pull the edge connector and check your +5v there. If low adjust on the ARII board. Plug edge connector back in and check for +5v at the test points on the PCB.

My PPII board does something similar to this at cold startup sometimes, but it is rectified by reseating the main edge connector. I have gotten a new connector, but have yet to install it...

Yup, it was the back of the PCB. Finally got around to checking, and it was disconnected. Fired her up, and now I am a happy boy.

Not bad for a $225 price tag.

Thanks for all your help guys.
