Hey so I have run into an issue with my left pinball flipper after I held down the button for it during a phone call wherein it now is malfunctioning. Whenever I now press the button for the flipper it rapidly tries to activate itself in a twitching sort of way, which is even more significantly pronounced when I hold down the button.

The wiring seems to be fine as far as I can tell and the same goes for the fuze that only appears to be attached to this flipper rather than the right flipper (the wiring in the fuse has not severed). I tried looking at the wiring behind the back glass but there doesn't seem to be anything identifiable on the parts side of the board and I'm not secure in trying to take off that board to check the wiring side. One other thing I checked was the voltage levels on them both and both flippers have the same sorts of voltage readings and voltage drops, even when the left flipper is twitching while the right flipper acts normally.

Is this an issue with the solenoid as I suspect it is? I've linked to a video I've taken of the problematic flipper control below.

Thanks.

It kind of works so forget fuse.

From your description it sounds like a poor solder joint or broken wire at the coil lugs. And the tiny wires coming off the coil to the lugs can be really hard to find a break on you have to dig around them.

Name of game helps to.

LTG :)

If wiring might be an issue then I'll resolder all the wires for that solenoid later just in case.

My pin is a Flight 2000.
