hi, i finally gathered everything i need for my dk cab so i am doing a bench test...

it had been on for a few minutes and all seemed fine, i was adjusting some of the chassis pots to get the picture size/position right when the colours suddenly went funny...

i cant find any obvious bad connections, but i did solder some wires myself, can anyone help me diagnose the problem? i have attached some pics...

setup is with new chassis and a tv tube with mikesarcade inverter board...

cheers

ok so i left it for about half hour to post here and when i returned it seemed to have fixed itself...

only issue now is the thin lines running up and down the screen, which have been there since i first turned it on...

any help/input would be appreciated

cheers

you need to adjust the flyback. Two knob's on the back. One is focus the other is brightness.Brightness to high.
On the first set of pics it looks like your missing the green colors.

thanks longhair, i turned the flyback brightness so dark i couldnt see the lines then turned up the brightness on the chassis remote board and all looks good!

one other thing, i may as well ask it here. there is a spare green wire on the power supply, pretty sure its a ground, when i get everything in a cab should i attach it to something or is it ok left loose??

excuse my ignorance, this is my first cab!

cheers
