Problem burning ROM for Star Wars

I'm definitely thinking it's more of a chip issue. I'm able to burn 2532's and 2532a's with no issues. Pm me your address and I'll ship you mine so you can try them. Think I'm going to order different 2732's as well.

I ended up getting a pair of Intel D2732A's. I was able to program the chips in both programmers. At least I have the board up and working.

Got the chips Thursday night. I got one to burn fine. the other stop at 4% and fail. I do get the message "External Power needed if write fail" and I have a 9v 210ma adapter hooked up. (10ma above their minimum.) So it looks like 3 dead chips, one good one (and the file is burned to it too) I have about 10 2764s like that. They erase fine but I can't burn anything to them.

Thanks for checking them out. I'm using a 300ma power supply which should be more then enough. Think I just got a bad batch of chips. Which chip did you get to program? One of the TI's? I have a bunch of mitsubishi 2764's I can't get to erase. Even left them in overnight and they still have the image on them.
