One of the things that has been bugging me about my DK Junior is the instruction card underneath the cpo. Mine is pretty messed up with some water damage, dirt, etc. It seems to me that this is the type of thing that I can print on my own on my ink jet printer. Maybe it won't be perfect, but would surely be better than what I have.

My question is this: What exactly should I print it on? My thought is a sturdy card stock piece of paper. Any other ideas/suggestions?

Paul

I bet the original was a shiny-ish paper. I'd print it with a color laser printer on white paper/card stock and it will look good.

The original was shiny, but since it is under shiny plexi anyway, I used what I had and it looks great.

I can print you however many you want on heavy semi-gloss stock at work - we have a massive xerox that we print catalogs on.

I take mine down to Office Max on a flash drive and have them print it on high gloss photo paper. It looks Profesh and it costs like 89 cents or something like that. If your were good you could probably fit 4 on a sheet.

Well, just printed the instruction card on the inkjet printer at home and it turned out well.

How about the sticker that was underneath the bezel above the control panel. Anybody print one of these? Should I just use some sticker paper from Office Depot/Max?

Lets see the injet print
As for the sticker I think it would have to do more with your printers capabilities rather than what you print it on, but I have no clue as I dont even own a printer !

I'll post a before/after picture once I get it installed in the cpo. A photograph of the instruction card itself wouldn't prove much other than the limitations of my camera skills

Even for myself I found the hi-res scans @ Mike's Arcade.
I printed the instruction card for the control panel @ 300 DPI on a semi-sheen photo stock paper and I'm very happy with the results.

The sticker below the bezel I printed @ 300 DPI on photo-sticker stock. It has more of a matte finish and again I'm very happy with the results.

Was cheap as heck, the 12"x18" photo stock was $1 per page, the sticker stock $4. And of course I got multiples per-page.

Yeah I grabbed the image from Mike's arcade too. I installed the instruction card this morning and it looks good. The "original" I replaced seemed like just a regular sheet of paper.

I'll probably pick up some sticker stock this week.

In my pics ? It's actually DK, DK JR, and DK 3 art printed on the same 12" X 18" photo stock. I had wanted to print out some side art on sticker stock that I would then HAND CUT and use on my bar top project. IE - they are just samples.

But I'll perhaps frame them and display them in the basement when complete. I dont want to take away from this thread, but PM me I have a seller of side art. I can forward the info.
(just wait about a week for my order to come in so I can vouch for the quality)
