Hi, I have an Original PR cab that I recently decided to throw a mame into but I didn't want to kill the cab at all so I bought a Jpac and an ArcadeVGA for that purpose. Everytime I started up everything I got a crazy scrambled screen.

So I bought a new VGA breakout cable because I saw another guy with the same problem.. Didn't fix it. I noticed while looking at my jamma harness that there was a cut cable on pin 13 on the solder side. And that someone had took the end of it and spliced it with another cable that goes into a 3 pin header which was connected to my PR board before I took it out. The header was labeled Jsync.. Knowning it roughly was connected to the jamma having something to do with sync at all, I decided to cut it back from the header and splice it back in on the harness, fired up my stuff and the results were a million times better, But I'm still having a huge amount of trouble getting the screen to lock in place perfectly. I thought maybe the other 2 wires going to the 3 pin have to be important too.. Anyone know what Jsync is at all? I've googled it and came up with nothing.

And how I could lock my screen. My res is sitting at 640 by 480. It seems when I move my mouse or anything it would start to scroll or move. If I get it almost perfect and then adjust one thing it goes out of wack and I have to adjust everything all over again.. Anything helps, Thanks!

So I ran the other wire hooked into the jsync header and it goes all the way back up to my monitor's board and its hooked into a header that is on the board that has all the other sync cabled and stuff??!

Also I guess my monitor is a WG996276? The tube has a neotec sticker on it but the chassis says WG. I was pretty sure it was a WG.
