Why didn't it happen? Does anyone own a prototype? Have the roms been dumped? I am finally moving my Primal Rage into Galaxy Blue and it got me thinking about the sequel.

Because it sucked...

I played it a couple times. You get to play as cave men if I remember right. It worked in MAME for a short while, I don't think it works now... but I am not sure. After playing once or twice I wasn't interested any longer.

A fucking Cave Man?!! Awesome! Why oh why don't I own this fine game?

I think they didn't want anyone passing out from more crazy side art. I think I am a hater because I suck at the game and no matter how hard I tried I could never figure it out. I just mashed buttons I had no style like SF or MK.

Number 1 should have never happened...

There is something very wrong with that line of thinking. I wish I could punch you in your mouth for talking so stupid. PR is one of the greatest games AtariGames ever conceived and I feel honored to own one.

Hey Phet, I have a Primal Rage...oh wait, it is awaiting a gutting. I still need to list the PR kit for sale.

Owning one though, I realize why button mashing never worked on this game - you have to hold in buttons to do the moves.

I hate you guys. All of you. Since when has this site been about dissing the classics? Posers.

I am not sure why it never happened, but it seems like Atari dropped games like that. A few years ago, someone sold a Primal Rage II PCB on eBay and it went for over $1,000. It was board only. The game is incomplete, but playable. Apparently the seller had pieced the board back together from dumpster diving at Atari, or that was what he said in the auction. Looks interesting with changing back and forth bewteen dinosaurs and humans, but who knows. You would think that releasing it would recoup some of the deveopment costs. Maybe not much if it was horrible, but better than tanking it all togher?

PLEASE bring that to CAX, so I can stand next to it and take a pic flipping forum member "phetishboy" the bird. Please?

Nice. I knew you had one, I just wanted to get your attention so you'd talk about it a little bit. I actually like the first one, and I am sure I would like the sequel.

The monitor blew up last year, right before the show. I have not had time to fix it, but since I'm way ahead of schedule on repairs, I might get to it before the show.

There was one of those on test in Chicago at Gala North. 6 button fighter, boy was it awful but I would still love to have a copy of it for the arcade. I have Tenth Degree, so why not, LOL
