Alright, so I'm scanning this damn cabinet. Going all in with 2400dpi and working with what I've got and all of my cabinets imperfections. Bought a NOS scanner that is the same age as my cabinet and VueScan Professional because I need good scanning software. But here I am…making this happen.
Going to try and get this right side scanned tonight.

Incredible! What are you using to register each scan? Or are you just aligning them manually?

Awesome...love seeing how this is done. If you're able to provide any other pictures, that would be great. I have two of these machines - one which I'm keeping original side art, but the other has been painted over so if there is new, accurate art available, I'd purchase it!

So my original goal of scanning at 2k DPI was a terrible idea. Each file was like 1gig so I decided instead to bring it down to 600 DPI. Files are all around 100mb each which is much more manageable.

Any who, I've got the right side composite done and will work on removing gauges, scratches, and trying my best to restore the reds from the top/ top mid area where you can tell someone used an aggresive cleaner that removed it. Will also have to do some restore work on the control panel sides as that top section is worn pretty badly.

I thought that 2400 dpi would add up pretty quickly... the alignment looks good!
