Games are so high in this state. I can't find too much at a reasonable price.

Prices are going up every where as a retailer it makes me happy. I can stop feeding the kids powder milk. They will be happy

This is funny, cause this guy is doing what I think about doing all the time! I guess some people are still unaware that the country is in a recession cause there have been a lot of high priced games showing up on Detroit CL latly. This guy is calling them out. Just found it funny and thought I would share!

The price police isn't even accurate... Reunion machines pull more than he claims. The Pinball Price police was doing the same thing in Dallas citing "Mr. Pinball" as the authority and then the real pinball collectors started bashing them that Mr. Pinball was a guide... I just started flagging all that crap. I don't like the high prices but I don't also need price police noise.

As that old saying goes. A item is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

and I agree with Vector, it is noise. People do have the freedom to ask what they want.

I don't feel $500 for a Burgertime is out of line IF the monitor isn't burned up and the cab beaten to hell. The sellers main flaw is simply not posting pictures.

Yeah I thought the same thing....

And fuck, If somebody has something at $500, it is quite possible that he will take $350-$400

I thought that somebody was being an asshole on that one.

I don't think $500 is out of line for Burgertime. If it is an original cab in good shape all working I'd go that for a BT. Like norton9478 said, most likely can get it for less then that anyways.

I agree. People should be able to ask what ever they want for their stuff. But where they cross the line in my book is when people say things like "Games like this one sell on eBay for $3,000 every day", or "You aren't going to find a better game at a better price anywhere". Those statements are just false and I have no problem calling people out for such false claims.

I also have to agree that prices are on their way back up. People are buying again, as if people were refraining from buying things they wanted for the past 8 months, and now they feel they have permission. All I can say is that it's about time.

That doesn't mean every game is going to get top dollar all the sudden, but things have certainly turned around of late.
