Price on a full size Galaga?

In a normal market that would be an excellent price for a complete, fully working Galaga that needs only cosmetic work. Even in this market, where game prices have mostly dropped across the board, $350 is still a decent deal. Galaga isn't all that great of a game, to be honest, but it seems to be always in high demand, so prices are usually $600 or so for a decent Galaga. At least, that has been my experience in my region (the Pacific Northwest). YMMV.

Well, you know what I mean! :p

If it were me, I would grab it FAST. id love to score a working Galaga for that price. Cosmetics are childs play (unless theres severe water damage or something).

Been contemplating that one since it popped up this morning. If I knew for sure that he'd do free delivery to Reston I probably would have called him by now, but by this point if you haven't called him that thing's probably gone. He's one of the few in the area who posts non-insane prices in cl ads. Really curious what that ghostbusters cab he's got up used to be.

Have you been to his shop? Just a warehouse but he has quite a few games there normally. He'll deliver to me for free because I live so close. I dont think he would charge a lot to deliver to Reston, and he delivers to West Virginia and Maryland. It will probably be gone before I can go snag it, but I'll stop by tomorrow before work and see if it is still available.
I got my 48-1 conversion from him and I have had to do quite a bit of work to it. It was a Neo Geo cab and he didn't install the Neo Geo jamma adapter so the test button does not work and only has mono sound. It is next on my lift of things fix.

I haven't yet, but with a friend who just bought a place out there I'd added it to the list of "things to do when I go out to Shorty's". :) I've seen his stuff on CL for a while, he looks to actually be sane about pricing, so I figured he might be someone good to get face to face with.

$350 ain't bad for a 100% working, decent looking Galaga.

I don't think there's enough information to determine if it's a good deal or not. You should go look at it in person.

I sold a working Galaga a couple months back for $350. Guess I should have asked more. I think Galaga ranges between $350-$550. And I think Galaga is an awesome game BTW

Good price if everything is working. I thought about this one, also, but I'm running out of room and have other games that I want to get. I'm looking for the following in the DC/MD/VA area if anyone has seen these for sale (or wants to sell theirs):

Gorf
Q*bert
Carnival
Swimmer
Star Wars
Discs of Tron
Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure (Williams, 1993)

Um, I thought a nice deciated working Galaga was still a $600-$800 game. Am I missing something or just really behind the times?

Yes, Ryan. He is buying in Virginia and you are in Seattle. There is a huge difference in economy and, therefore, prices. This is why I buy so many games in VA when I am there and ship them back. Almost half of my gameroom came from VA...

You make it sound like VA is full of good deals. I've been collecting here for about 8 years and I'd love to see some of those...

Virginia is full of good deals. Every game I have bought in VA I paid 1/3 to 1/2 of what I would have paid in WA. I bought three machines this past fall/winter and I paid less than $350 total. These were three seperate transactions and I would have bought more but I am out of room...

o_O

Are... are we using the same Craigslist?

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, somehow... :p

Call him and tell him you will take it....that is a decent price for a solid working Galaga....FYI someone listed a Galaga the other day in Calgary that looked to be is not as good of shape as that one and the seller wants $1800.
