price for non-working kangaroo

Saw one on cl cab looked great but guy wouldn't take any less than 200. I finally passed.

Glad you saved me the trouble of asking how much he wanted, Id buy it if it was a game I really wanted, I have a brand new monitor sitting in the box and I think thats all the Kangaroo needed

Price of a nonworking Kangaroo? $0 At least, that is what I would pay. Maybe I just don't understand that game but I have never liked it. The gameplay isn't very good. When I play it, it has the feel of a game that was never finished. The graphics and sound have a lot of room for improvement.

Agreed. Side art is cool, game kinda sucks.

The price for a working Kangaroo for me is $0, so a nonworking one would be him paying me $50 :D

This is one of those games where the non-working price is about the same as working. Sad, because it has really charming artwork.

Yeah I was going to get it for the cab. And g07 but he said no neck glow. No hum .no nothing. My wife due on the 30th so I didn't want a trouble shooting project

This is a highly under-appreciated game. Usually those who hate it are the type that will sit all day and mash buttons on games like Galaga or Street Fighter. What's the point of playing if you don't get Carpal Tunnel?

I like the game quite a bit. I picked up mine for $50 + gas. It was working but had a bad monitor (crappy MatsuSHITa). I popped a working K7000 into it and still have it....

totally agree with Modessitt it's a good game people need to give it a chance i paid $100 for mine working but i've been thinking about ditching the MatsuShita monitor mines starting to act up

I am normally against doing a multigame in a dedicated cabinet. However, Kangaroo is one exception. I probably would not mind dropping a whatever - in 1 PCB into one of those. I wouldn't go hack crazy and rip out the guts or anything. I would do a nice clean JAMMA adaptor or at least something that could be changed back easily. However, that would probably be the only reason I would pick up a Kangaroo, unless it had a working monitor I needed for something else.

I absolutely agree. I've always enjoyed that game and still do.

Now, I wouldn't pay $200 for a dead one, but I'd pay that+ for a REALLY nice one.
