A pizza store literally right in front of my house has a broken down wurlitzer 1015 jukebox that plays vinyl 45's..it's in desperate need of a resto. currently it doesn't play, the wood needs to be redone and the left side plastic for the bubbler is broke. the guy want's me to come up with a price to offer on it....whats it worth as it sits?

it's this model but in much worse shape.

offered the seller $500 and they wanted $1200 saying it was easily worth $3k to 5k once restored. oh well.

Im certainly not an expert, but, I would seriously consider giving $1000 for a complete 1015 in the condition you described.

Two big questions, how solid is the cab? Is the veneer the only thing that needs redone or is the cabinet shot as well.

Are you sure it plays 45's, it was made to play 33's. If it was somehow converted to 45's, I would think that would really decrease the value.

The broken plastic is not that big of a deal, Im almost certain they are being repo'd..

I would love to have a 1015, maybe thats the difference.

This is a modern machine manufactured in the 1990's. Made in two versions: one for 45's (the one the OP is talking about) and one for cd's.

The days of getting big money for jukeboxes are long gone. Prices have fallen dramatically over the past few years.
