What would be the going rate for one of these? The one I am looking at is in pretty rough shape. It turns on and plays but is extremely dirty. I can't tell if the playfield is worn out or if its just dirt. Both of the flippers don't work and all the rubbers on the machine are completely gone.

Also is the game fun? I couldn't get a real idea of the game play since neither of the flippers worked. Any help would be great on this.

Thanks!

DO... WANT.

I've got 2 local people that have these within about 100 miles of me, and neither one will give me pics, condition, or even just a price. It's driving me nuts....guess they don't want to sell them that much, but god, I've got a serious jonesing for this pin after watching youtube videos. Trying to stick with a space/sci-fi theme for my pins, and if there wasn't a Pinbot floating around here even closer than those I would be harassing the crap out of those two people...

No idea about the price. The only other ones I can find are supposedly completely restored by retail places and just beyond absurd price-wise.

They are cheap, working even maybe a $500-800 game. The lack of the standard inlane/outlane makes it kinda weird. It looks kinda neat especially if you like the space theme. Not a lot of people looking for this title, you should be able to find one pretty easily for a reasonable price.

I got in contact with them a couple times. I asked for better pics than what they had on CL, but did not get any. I was about to start calling friends to borrow a road worthy truck when I saw this post. If it needs a flipper rebuild, rubbers, and a good cleaning then he is asking too much. I also heard about some shady crap on another machine they sold a while back.

This sounds consistent with what I've seen over the last couple years. $500-$800 for average condition.

I agree that this is a $500-$800 game, towards the cheaper end if not fully working. Can you try removing dirt in a spot with Novus and see if the pf is OK? If the display is OK, that helps as it's another expense to fix. Rubbers and flipper parts are cheap to fix/replace.

I really like Space Station--a cool S game that is fun and a bit different from the conventional layouts. Then again, I always do a ton of drop catches so the inlane-less flippers with the dead spot next to the slings are fine by me!
