Maybe looking to sell, From Exidy's price guide:
Atari Football - Cocktail game $400-$600 - Collector price. Ive seen these retail upto $1000.
With that said what do you think?

Bearings and shafts are newer in good shape, the tracballs are OG, no issues whatsoever, this one has the "punt" play selection.

looks nice. Not easy to find a working football these days.. Just hard to say to what its worth. I would think $400-$600 would be fair, but you never know..

Its missing the monitor gel, but then again, most are..

I thought only the early ones had the gel?

Thanks and keep them coming. :)

your probably right, I remember the gel on them. I also remember most being without it in the arcades. I think the local arcades had gels on the 2 player ones. But the 4 player, I only remember it without the gel.

Would love one of those... Would buy that with the quickness if it was here. The seller could probably take advantage of me a little too. ;)

The 4 player version is the rarer version and usually goes for a higher price. I think $500 is a fair price and $600 isn't out of the question. At $400 if that were local I'd snap it right up, at $500, I'd think about it (and still probably buy it)

+1.

I used to have one and sold it many years ago in about this same shape. I've regretted it since. That game is a blast.

Don't know where in CA you are (haven't looked it up yet) but if you sell it for around these prices, drop me a line.

I'm in SoCal, at this point it's sold but if things change I will probably list it up for sale, didn't really plan on selling it but responded to Braido's wtb ad as I thought about it more, could use some extra space and it is not getting a whole lot of use in my collection, the game is great fun, wish I had that person on the other side of the cab who loves it as much as I do, not as much fun as a 1 player game....:(

sounds about right

So would the consensus be that this one is worth $500?

the monitor looks nice but the cab is a bit rough in spots. I would buy it for $300-$400.
that's just me

I think I sold mine for $400 a while back with repro trackballs. I would have kept it too if I had someone to play on the other side. Lack of single player was a killer for me. I do miss it though, so someday when I have space, I may pick one up again.
