Price Check: what do you guys think The Machine: Bride of Pinbot is worth
Hey all,
I realize its a subjective question, and its dependent on the condition, but I was hoping for an opinion after a brief description.
The game is an ex routed Machine:BOP. The top of the play field has been been disassembled to the wood so it could be cleaned....however, it still has what i could call noticeable ball tracks on high traffic areas that are not covered by the mylar. The mylar is shiny but does show some yellowing. The game has had a full LED kit installed (play field inserts, GI with some form of non ghosting, and backbox LEDs). Although, a bit of ghosting is still there....but FAR from the worst I've seen. At least one of the boards had significant repair evident from extensive jumpering although, I don't recall why. When I first played it, it was a bit awkward and still had a couple problems. After the problems were repaired, and the game was tweaked a bit, it played pretty well and was fairly enjoyable. Although, I think it needs some more tweaking to make it a truly excellent playing machine. For example, I believe it still needs the flippers rebuilt even though they flipped pretty strong.
So its got the LED kit going for it, and its a pretty good player that could be great with some more tweaking (and a bit of cash). But it still shows some signs of age and wear.
Anyone care to throw out an opinion of the value of said BOP. I know the price police has to be out patroling somewhere.
