I really like wall games. That said, there is only a very small market for them. The original Trapshoot is the only one to bring any decent money. Otherwise, even working wall games have a hard time getting $200 and it will take a while to find a buyer at that price.

If you are looking at it from a money making point of view, run away. If you like the game and have a place for it, then who cares? Yes you'd be overpaying, but it's not like these games come around every day like a Pac Man cabinet. But on the other hand, it's likely he won't get $500 from anyone, so if you wait, he will likely need to come down (a lot), or he'll die with it and his wife will throw it away.
