Price check: Universal Magical Spot - Complete, nice shape, non-working

I don't have this yet.
I am trying to decide if I should buy it.
I don't want it for myself but I don't want it to be parted or sold to a mame builder.
If I can get it for a fair price and move it along to someone else then I will do it.

What's a 'fair price'?

If it is a nice, dedicated cab and fully working, I'd say MAX $200. I'd be more comfortable in the $125-$150 area, but then again how often do these come up? I don't think its a highly sought after game, but the art is cool.

If it is a nice, dedicated cab and fully working...

NOT working.

But it IS lovely.

As I said, I don't really want it, but perhaps someone else does and I can keep it from a future as MAME cabinet or conversion. I can imagine the artwork being removed... etc.

I don't want to be stuck with it either.
Saving it is a labor of love. I have no illusions I'll get rich flipping it nor that I will keep it.

Same guy has a decent Space Panic cabinet (would need a little love) but it's missing that awesome backpiece artwork and has a Mr Do PCB and CPO. Too bad.

Thanks for the numbers and the detail.
I'm feeling better about it.

Wow, if I could get that game locally, I would. Wonderful art, and from the sounds of it, better than the one pictured on KLOV. If you have the room, get it and keep it (and post pics!). It would spice up any arcade collection instead of some generic JAMMA game.

From the looks of your VAPS, it would be in fine company.

I would think no more then $150. If it has the original monitor and the f20u chassis and the fly back is bad you will not find one trust me. Other then that i don't like the play but the wife likes it.

The deal is done.
Here she is... in all her semi-clad glory!
Thanks for the responses.

Cool purchase. How the heck did they get away with that artwork? Parents back in the day would have thrown a fit. This machine looks nicer than the one in KLOV's database. Show it off!
