Price Check: Toobin'

What kind of price range would I be looking at for a Toobin'?

This game is one of those that looks like it would be fun to own until you actually buy one. Trust me, you will want to sell it after a week. Gets old, especially playing by yourself. You can continue forever. I wish someone would have warned me and Blackhog before we bought ours. Wait, someone did warn Blackhog, but he didn't listen.

Yeah, that continue thing is a real deal-breaker (as I learned when I added my first JAMMA-era game, Double Dragon, to my collection).

Lemme guess, you can't turn off the continue "feature", right?

Phetishboy sucks at life and at all video games so don't listen to him.

Once your game is over, its over. You don't HAVE to continue. I will own a Toobin someday. $200-$250 is what I have seen them go for FWIW.

I've had mine for over a year, still love the game and find it fun... Of course there are games other people love that I would drop in a heartbeat, so its one of those "to each his own"

$300 is average for a good condition 100% working machine.

Another internet tough guy who doesn't know HIS head from the one he's currently tongue-teasing.

Jow, is right. This game is fun if you resist the continues. For awhile I was trying to get the Twin Galaxies high-score (using no continues) and it was pretty darn challenging. I did get to #3 or #4 but never taped or submitted a score.

$200-300 depending on condition.

Yes unlimited continues suck. I say just put quarter mechs in there lock the coin door and make yourself pay to play. It's a great way to limit continues and turns the game in to a piggy bank. I used to do this with my donkey kong and would save up about $400 a year in quarters that way. Kind of a win win.

Feel free to list the names of games you are actually good at, internet fat guy.

All this time and you still have not been to the warehouse. Shame on you . Call me and come and check it out and bring me lunch while you are at it.

I can't tell if you guys are friends or if you really dislike each other....

...they've shared DNA. That should be enough of an answer for you.

Toobin looks fun! I've never played it before though. One reason I didn't really like APB... unlimited continues. One reason why I am not too keen on Championship Sprint... unlimited continues. But yeah, just make sure to limit yourself and you're golden.

I blew through Turbo Outrun because of continues ...an hour later I was done with the game and regretted it... sold it within a week later.
