What do you value these two cocktails at? The Joust is super clean. I'd rate it an A-. The Defender is pretty average, I'll give it a C+.

Both cocktails have had the monitors rebuilt by Buffet a few years back. The Joust is close to numbers matching, the only oddball serial # is the power supply board (the heat sink and transistor part does match the serial of everything else) . All of the other boards, monitor, transformer and cabinet are serial # 606924. The Joust doesn't have the typical "inspection" stamp anywhere on it. I talked to Lonnie a few years ago and he thought that was weird.

The Defender is average. Not much more to say about it. Both of these cocktails are rock solid and will run for days.

Thanks!

The inspected date on the outside is stamped in the black wood where player 2 sits.

The inspected date is inside by one of the two breather grates. If the dates not there it may be stamped Belmont - the company who made the cabinet.

Dud we register it and was it played on Joust Tour.
I apologize - Klov handles don't register to me as names

Thanks, No sign of the inspected stamp anywhere. I even looked under the control panels. Just has one Belmont cabinet stamp above the top grate on the player 1 side. I'll shoot you PM with info for the registry again, I just checked and I didn't make the list. Not a machine you have rolled. Come flip it post pandemic.

In my experience, defender cocktails have always been a $4-500 game. Joust cocktails have always been a $1500-2000 game.

I'd say the Joust is an easy $1600 in this market.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably be putting these up for sale in the fall/winter and the rest of my games next year.

I just sold a joust cocktail.
Friend price was $900 (which is really cheap) kept it local and when to a good home.
IMO $1500 give or take is the right price.

The last few Joust cocks I've seen locally have been in the $1100-$1300 range

Defenders have seemed to gone up a little? Not sure why.. seem to be about $600-$700 here, but imo it's a $450-$500 game.

FWIW, I sold the Defender cocktail in a three game package with a Battlezone cabaret and a Asteroids Deluxe cabaret. $2800 for all three.

I ended up selling the Joust cocktail for $1250. One of those friend and family deals that seem to be so popular with these Joust cocktails. :D
