There is a guy selling a Swords of Fury near me for $1,200. I spoke with him on the phone yesterday, and he says it's in mint condition. I'm going to take a look at it later today. Do you guys think the price is fair if the machine is truly mint like he claims? Also, is there anything about this particular pin that I should look for or be aware of when I play it?

Make sure the displays are bright/crisp.
Both upper diverters on the top RH side work properly.
All drop targets on the miniplayfield work properly.

Multiball lock/kickout works properly.

Can't really comment on price, as it totally depends on where you live and other factors.

Thanks, dude! It was actually your video that made me want to own this machine. That music is just killer. :)

Yes your video tomdotcom is inspiring, as I would like to own a swords of Fury as well. With you being a great pinball player, you were showing the flow of the game and certain things that take place, rather then looking up on youtube for just a random video of someone flipping to keep the ball alive, you sir showed the depth of the game with the ramp, shots and targets. I appreciate your videos, but my favorite was when you had a party for your son and you video taped the event. Your pin line up has changed since that video though.

No. Where is Gilbert? The only one I know of is near Phoenix. This pin is in Illinois.

Gilbert, AZ. was voted the safest city in the country, lol. A suburb of Phoenix on the east side of the valley. Iam 20 miles further east of Gilbert myself. Yes theres a Swords of Fury on the Phoenix Craigslist for $1300 suppose to be fully refurbished . If I had the cash it be sitting next to HS as it will be my 2nd pin. Damn I need another pin or 2, I have the room, just not the funds.

I've had to downsize, new baby on the way! I only have 4 pins right now, 3 in the house and 1 in the garage.

You can see my current lineup in my signature, I have sold:

Addam's Family
WCS94
Dr Who
Time Machine
Getaway High Speed II

Wish I could keep them all, one day I'll have a huge gameroom, and then they will ALL stay :)

I bought the pin today. It's in great condition. I don't know if I would call it "mint", but it certainly is way above average. Playfield = 9.5, Cabinet = 9, Translite = 10. All the boards are pristine and look like they just left the factory. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I didn't negotiate that hard on the price, but I got the seller to knock off $50 and drive 40 miles back to my house to help me move it into my basement and set it up. :)
