Always loved the game, one's come up on the local CL for 350. It doesn't have a good picture and I could probably haggle him down...opinions would be great (yes I know it's not a lot of info, guesstimate ppl!)

Pics? Condition, monitor size, etc all play a part.

like I mentioned the only pic it has is really dark. 2 player, 6 buttons per player, smaller monitor maybe 19 inches can't tell from the pic, works fine, it looks good for it's age but from the pic he texted me its hard to tell.

Which street fighter 2 is it?
World warrior
Champion edition
Turbo
Super street fighter 2

All this plays a part in pricing and which style cab also

Double check with the seller. Sometimes even though the cab has the SFII marquee, it may still have a Champion Edition or Turbo pcb installed.

Are the other one's more/less valueable? I mean obviously they are but how much are we talking?

World warrior is the cheapest then champion then turbo

Here is just what the pcbs are worth

World warrior - 45-65$
Champion - 65-85
Turbo 85-150$

Then when you start getting into cps2 stuff it varies fr way low to way high

...why can't anything in this hobby just be simple :p

This is becoming like "NBA Jam" and "NBA Jams"...

By "Turbo" they mean "Hyper Fighting", just so when you turn it on and see the words "Hyper Fighting" you aren't scratching your head. If you're going to play old school SF2, that's the money CPS-1 version.

...but yeah. "Street Fighter II cabinet" can mean anything in this hobby and exists on a very wide scale of pricing.

I had the hardest time selling my super nice 19" SF CE for 200. Looking back I should have just kept it for that money.

I know it's kind of taking a side bar, but whats the NBA Jam part? Remember, still a noob, are there 10000 variations of that too?

19"? Man i dont think its even worth $200...I say try to get one for Dynamo cab w/ either champion edition or hyperfighting. You will end up regretting for not going bigger & w/ a really obsolete fighting game.

Hyperfighing is timeless so go for that if you can...

+1 took the words out of my mouth (typed the keys off of my fingers?)

People should never say just Turbo cause you'll get someone excited looking for Super SF2 Turbo... the $300 CPS2 version...

Here's my general guide:
bad/rough conversion but everything works and cheapest board? $100-$150
HS1 or HS2 corner cut with the right CPO and good condition all around can go for around $300
Pristine restore w/ HF can go for about $500
Monitor condition and type effects it's value quite a bit.

Same thing goes with the Pac series. The name "Pac-Man" is generically used for any game in the series, including Baby Pac or Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man pinball.
