Well folks... it's looking like I am getting much closer to looking to sell my Star Wars cockpit. With the baby here, priorities change and, frankly, while it's kickass to have the game in the collection, it just doesn't get enough play to warrant keeping it. Ideally I'd like to find another SW upright eventually for the collection though (who knows, perhaps an upright + cash deal could be worked out?).

In any case... what, in your opinion, should I look to get for this game?

Stats:

The cab is in very nice condition... one of the better cockpit cabs I've seen out there. It has a 25" Amplifone monitor plus an additional 19" Amp compatible tube with mounting brackets will be included. The cockpit will also include a 2nd set of Star Wars boards that exhibit a "Mathbox Divider Error", but other than that, they work... and that board set happens to have a Mark Spaeth ESB kit installed on it.

Keep the cockpit, throw the baby out with the bathwater...

That is a slick looking one, damn shame you're contemplating letting her go. :(

I wonder if I'd pull more selling the SW itself and the extra tube and boardset/esb kit separately...

...damn baby's are expensive.

Is that a partial trigger grip on the floor in the cab? You forgot to mention if that's included in the price too! :) Nice machine Frizz.. definitely eBay that bad boy and see what it goes for!

Hehe...that shot was taken PRE-rebuild of the yoke.

:)

Props to you for reprioritizing for baby. It's just something those without kids can't understand.

I bet you could find someone out there to swing a trade. Or you could keep your tube and boardset and find a broken upright to fix up nice.

If you're selling it, it's worth $50. If you're buying it, it's worth $5000.

The above prices were determined using the normal KLOV attitude towards buying and selling games...

You should take a picture with the baby sitting in the cockpit before you sell it. And then when your kid is older and sees the pic and says "Daddy why did you sell the Star Wars cockpit?" you can smack'em up side the head...

Frizzle...
If you get dead serious about finding it a new home, depending on pricing I'd make the drive out... I wouldn't pay what it would sell for on ebay on a good day, but I'd give it a good home! I wouldn't need all of the extra parts, although the SW/ESB kit would be cool to have. I've kept my eyes peeled for a fair priced SW, I didn't really care if it was a cockpit or not, actually would prefer an upright for space issues, but we all know the cockpit kicks way more ass!

LOL, I don't even have the effin' room for an upright cabinet in here, but if the stars, moon and planets were aligned I'd pimp two or three more games onto the streets for an SW-CP.

Hey FF,
That is a thing of beauty for sure. That is the holy-est grail or GRAILS for me. I am sure I'll never have one due to what they are worth. Well unless a rich family member dies or the lotto is good to me something.....Man O man that is a great game and such a great cab....FF good luck with all man..

PRICE CHECK - Star Wars Cockpit.

I'll paypal you $2,500 immediately for everything and have NAVL get it out of your place in a day or two.

Just ask YODAinMN how fast NAVL is.

wow, a couple nice offers for you already Friz, but given the nature of this game, you're only reply should be, "Fifty-thousand. No less."

God, I'm a geek.

I can vouch for Steve, Frizz. He's good guy to deal with. Super-fast payer and getting NAVL to your door was a shocker. It was like two days after our deal that the truck was at my door! MAybe sell him another game to save him some $$ on shipping! :)

Well, to be honest with you all, Dale (RLEVIN) had upped the offer to $2,500 for it all and is waiting on my decision... being that I doubt I will ever own another SW cockpit, I figured I better take a day for consideration.
