Price Check: Smash TV

People shoot for the sky on E-Bay. If it works for them, then fine. They are not worth that price, at least in my opinion. I could give the standard 'They are worth what someone is willing to pay' line, but that would be cliche.

I picked one up a few months back for far less than that asking price, LOL.

Theres a nice one a member here had for sale for $600 if I recall correctly.

Edit: Found the link: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=154609&highlight=smash.
The side art is nice on that one, something that is fairly rare for warly 90's williams machines. The reds and yellows tended to fade BADLY, both on video machines and pinballs.

I would think you could probably get one less than $500 if you looked around for a little bit, especially if you are not too worried about the sideart (i.e. if it would be between other machines).
