On my local CL there is a non-working Pole Position sit-down for sale and I'm wondering how much is it worth? See pics:

Awesome game and I love mine more than life itself. That being said, I got mine free and non-working. If you have the boards there, you're looking at $150 or so to get them fixed, cap the monitor and rebuild the ARII's. The only other failure point may be the steering opto. You're shifter bezel will also be cracked. It's a great way to play Pole Position if you've got some time and the room. I'd start at $150 or so.

Am I seeing that picture right? Is the front left corner sitting in a giant puddle of water? Hope it hasn't been living outside.

It does appear as such that it is in a puddle. I hope that it hasn't been outside but it looks like it has. They want $250 for it and I think that is unreasonable but I'm not 100% sure of value of the thing but water damage kills value.

I think I saw this exact one on ebay for $200 starting price. Its listed now.
I'd like a PP as well but I' rather buy one from someone on klov vs CL or
ebay.

i think $250 for a non-working cockpit is a little more than i would pay. non-working i think $150 would be the top i'd pay unless the cabinet was in real nice shape. i paid $75 for mine playing blind which was a steal as far as im concerned. the big plus is the wife and kids LOVE it too. its a keeper for sure.

Hmmm, given how nice the cab looks, I think it's been in the dude's garage. Looks like he opened the garage door up and wheeled it onto the driveway just to snap the pictures.

That said, I'd still only pay $150 for a non-working PP cockpit. Hey, at the very least, if everything is dead and you're too cheap to go and buy all the boards and whatnot, a cheap $50 MAME computer with a 21" monitor and you'd be set lol.

Yeah, I didn't bring up the puddle to poopoo your deal. I'd just keep that picture in mind when checking it out.

I paid for mine $300 fully working it's a cool piece to have and gets played alot when family comes over it's also one of my games that I always cross my fingers when I turn it on but love the sound in attract mode reminds me of the day's at chuck e cheese when I was a kid but it's a keeper and they don't come up often here in Cali.

I paid fifty for mine, but it was in an auction setting and the board was nonworking. I love it to death though. It prolly gets the most play when friends are over next to my top skater and xmen. Phetish, that blue tmolding looks great!!! I may have to borrow that idea..
