Price check Simpson's Bowling

Just as title says. I have a guy wanting to do some trading that has one of these. Is the game any good?

I have heard from at least 2 people that it is not that great of a game, but I have never played it. Something about the trackball control sucking or not being what you think it should be. There is an option to change the controls in the menu, but I am not sure what hard vs. easy means. I saw a nice one at an Op's warehouse 2 years ago and the guy wanted $400 for it.

I've played it and enjoyed it, so if you love The Simpson's it's a must buy. If you just want a good bowling game, I would stick with Capcom Bowling or Strata Bowling.

I am not that wild about the simpson's. But, I thought it might be a good way to get my kids more interested in my games.

I have a Simpson's Bowling and it's a fun game especially if you have 4 people playing together.

The only thing is once you master it you can get a 300 game almost everytime.

If you're trying to get the kids involved, I go with the regular simpsons arcade game, instead of the bowling. But at any rate, around Oregon here, they start at $350, but I've seen them trying to sell for $700.

I thought about that game also. I haven't seen one of those lately.

It ain't no World Class Bowling...

...but if you are a Simpsons fan, I can see getting it.

If you want the ULTIMATE bowling game you HAVE to get Silver Strike Bowling!

Simply the BEST bowling game to date. Of course my HyperBowl might be just as good.

One of these days I'll pull it out of storage unwrap it and try it out.

I have it.

It is the game that gets played the most by the kids. The earlier posters were right, it does get easy once you get the rythm down, but mine gets a ton of play (my 4 year old LOVES it) and everyone has fun playing.

There are 2 play modes - easy and hard. Easy lets you bowl without the "timing" bar, hard has the timing bar (like in Golden Tee) so you have to roll it at a certain spot/time on the bar. Make sure you have a good, smooth track ball - it makes all the difference.

There is also straight bowling and spares bowling as well.

As far as price goes, I bought mine in a bulk buy. I picked up a Rev X, Simpsons bowling, and a Road Blasters for $450.

hate to rehash an old thread but I am looking at one of these and no one in the earlier posts mentioned how much it is worth give or take. The owner is asking $225 for it.

a working dedicated one was at the last super auction in december here in dallas. I want to say it sold in the $300 range
