Good condition, dedicated - minus side decals. The guy I'm talking to wants $500 for it and is justifying the price because there is one on eBay for $950. Thoughts? Thx

Dedicated? LOL. If by that you mean in the nicest 19" Dynamo cabinet ever with full pristine artwork, 100% fresh buttons and sticks....

Yeah, maybe $500. But I wouldn't pay more than $300. Ever.

IMO ebay prices don't really "justify" anything. If they sell, it just shows what some inidividual was willing to pay. And yes, the seller can price their stuff at whatever they want.

It really comes down to what do YOU want to pay for this game. $500 seems a little high. Depends on what condition everything on the cab is in. I'd say maybe $400 tops. But that's just me.

Depends on how bad you want it too, you should be able to find these in nice shape under $500 fairly easily. Price changes a little too if it has a 25" monitor. But like JJ said, that just seems high.

Bingo. This is the type of info we need to offer a solid price range for you.

But to put it in perspective, my buddy just bought a super nice 25" monitor Big Blue Capcom/Dynamo cabinet with full arts and a Marvel Vs. Capcom II cart at our local Tilit for $300. Prices are plummeting lately on games.

Actually, we need pics. Very much. There are several different possible machines this could be.

For example, there is a dedicated big blue version of CE. If it is that one and in good shape, you're in the right ballpark at around 4-500.

If it is a generic Dynamo 19 inch cabinet, start subtracting a couple 100's.

It's a Dynamo 19'. Iwill post pics in a bit when the lil one goes down

No need. We now can rule out any possibility of it ever being worth what he wants. The price he is asking is retail. And if you are in an area void of many games on your local CL, or if he is offering some sort of warranty, or if you just had to have it, then go for it. But my limit on a 19" Dynamo (even with full artwork) would be $300. They show up alot.

I didn't mention it in my thread on the CE big blue I bought, but I paid $500 for mine. I did try to haggle a bit, but I've been looking for one and figured I would be paying the high end of the price.

My gf got me a dynamo 25" with CE Bezel, and Marquee for under $200Cdn.

It was a little dirty and needs a new CP layout, joysticks and buttons. Wouldnt go over $300 even if in great shape. CE cabs are easy to find and PCB's are sold on this great site very regularly.

That's way high. $300-$400

JJ
Bingo. I gave $350 for mine and it still has the original side art(Dynamo Cab). The only reason I gave that much was that it was only 20min from my house. This was last year/year and a half ago, so the price would probably be lower now...
