I bought a Ms. Pac that has excellent electronics (new monitor, PSU, etc), but isn't in the best physical condition. From the deal I got a set of Ms. Pac stencils. What are they worth these days. I'm still planning on restoring the machine, but I'm going to approach the artwork a different way.

It's both sides and the front.

Those Rotheblog stencils are based off Joymonkey's files - the most accurate. As far as price, I tried selling the set I have from JoyMonkeys limited run and couldn't sell them. Bottomline is - they're worth whatever the person wanting them is willing to pay and not a dime more.

Interesting. I'm still undecided about selling them, so its not too big of a deal. There flat packed, so they don't take up that much space.

In general, is Ms. Pac not that popular anymore? It seems, with most people here if they like pac-man at all, they'll like Pac-man over Ms. Pac-man. Maybe twobits taints the whole thing.

I didn't buy this game to sell, i bought this game to restore and to play.

Well, with 48-1's and multi-Pacs available....there's really no need to own more than one cab from the series so the demand has diminished.

I have a Ms. Pac cab, a Pac cab, and a Galaga cab. Each with the original pcb's only playing the original game. I feel like it's redundant and a waste of space having all three given the multiboards out there.

I'd keep the stencils though, they just aren't easily available unless you have someone that can cut the stencils for you from the file.

Interesting. After playing Ms. Pac religiously for the past two weeks, playing regular Pac seems really different. I can see why people use the multi boards, but if i had the choice, i'd have the dedicated cabs.

I might be interested. I have an unrestored ms pac. I haven't looked into stencils vs. sticker much, so I don't know for sure which direction I want to go with it, but I lean towards going original (stencil). However, I'm not even positive this game will be a long term keeper for me. I've never been a big pac fan and only play it once in a while. I got it mostly for my wife. I'll probably see how much it gets played as we get back into playing regularly now that we're starting to get settled in the new house.

So that's a long way of saying that I might be interested in buying a set but probably not immediately, and certainly not if it seems "expensive". If you decide that you do want to sell it and figure out how much you want for it, feel free to shoot me a PM to check my interest level and that might just spur me into researching stencil vs. sticker so I can decide whether or not I want to buy it.

I have painted 3 Ms Pacs in the past 3 months. It's a ton of work, and I still have 2 more to complete. Stickers are quicker. But I paint all mine.

beautiful work Talon, i'd be damn proud of those. You just can't beat a fresh stenciled cab.
