I have no idea on this title, and have been asking around locally and have been getting a wide range of prices..

What would you say a decent working Punchout! with minor cab scuffs and a little TLC needed worth? Monitors are both in good working order. PCB/Game works with no issues.

Any help would be appreciated!

About tree fiddy.

Seriously, $350. A nicely restored Punch-Out!! can fetch up to $600. Mine was not restored but was still pretty nice and I paid only $350 for it, but it had a color PROM issue that couldn't be resolved and the seller needed to raise cash quickly. Ended up buying a new board set for it for $125 shipped.

I'd have no problem paying $600 for one with no color PROM issues (very common for this game) and good monitors / good cosmetics.

I would say $300-$750, depending on condition. I paid $50 for mine at auction, it had $75 in quarters in the bottom. Had to rebuild both sanyos.

I agree........

Can you explain what Color PROM issues are? Never heard of that before.

That is not a monitor issue you see. Swapping the monitor cables made the problem move to the top monitor. It was caused by one or more bad color PROMs on the board set.

Nintendo used a few different color PROM sets on this game, and they are not interchangeable. You have to find the correct one for your board set revision. Typically if you have a bad color PROM you can just get a new one burned by Steph at HobbyROMS.com for your particular board set revision and you're good to go. In my case I was unlucky in that my Punch-Out!! board set had an undocumented and undumped color PROM set that wasn't yet available in MAME, hence wasn't available for burning a new one (at the time anyway; it may be by now).

Mine has the same color issue. Thought it was just the monitor, was intending to work on it just haven't got around to it. At least now i don't have to waste time on the monitor. Thanks for the heads-up.

This is a game that was really popular a few years ago on these boards but it seems the interest has died down. I think you can expect a wide range on this depending on the sellers need to move it and the buyers desire to own it. Probably $350 - $600 for a working one in decent shape.

I think you are low on your fully restored price. I think restored can get $700 - $1200+ depending on how well the restore is done.

thanks for the info, i'll have to see if my burner will program those proms. I have an EMP-10 if anybody knows if it will do those proms.
