I've got a working Pole Position that I'd like to sell, and I'm curious what's a reasonable price for a collector and/or retail (i.e. CL/eBay)

Overall condition of the cabinet seems real nice. I'd recommend replacing the marquee with a fresh Pole Position (the PP2 marquee look burnt to hell).

If monitor works with not too heavy screen burn and the board/ controls/sound all work fine you'd be looking at around $350 in my neck of the woods. Top dollar I've seen one go for around here was like $450.

It's been tough to sell anything Pole Position for quite a while. Boards are crap and they're a dime a dozen. I'd put a max of $250 unrestored, working.

I sold a Pole Position II in a Pole Position cab for $325 less than 2 months ago to a gentleman in Louisiana. He had it shipped, so double that price for his cost. It was partially restored, new CPO, Mint marquee, new T-molding, clean inside and out. I was hoping for $450, but whattaya do. If I didn't have a cockpit, I'd pay $350 for a nice working upright. I think it's one of the best classic driving games ever. The attract mode sounds and the "Prepare to Qualify" quote are worth that price alone.

Wow! The front is much worse than the back. I actually thought it was a beige/green color scheme until I saw phet's pictures.

The only burn is "Game Over", which appears moderate by PP standards. Audio, etc is 100% (for now)

Thanks for the info. I got her cheap enough that monitor and parts would probably be break even, so I bought before learning anything about the game...
