I'm thinking $400 to $500 depending on area. I am just going from what I have seen in Florida.
$250.
You have to assume that it is going to stop working as soon as you get it home.
Just depends on how badly you'd like one. It might stop working when you get it home. You'll mostly find posts that will scare you if you look for discussions of PP here, but some work just fine for years so IMO you'll get a skewed view of PP here. Anyway, if you could take it or leave it then $250 probably isn't a bad price but if you REALLY want a PP cockpit (and I wouldn't blame you - I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE mine) then IMO $500 isn't beyond reasonable unless you're prepared to wait quite a long while to find one cheaper.
I wouldn't worry too much about the brake. Probably just needs a new switch, but I'm not sure anyone even uses it. I certainly don't. Uprights don't have a brake BTW.
Looks like it might be in pretty decent shape BTW. I can only see one bottom corner but it doesn't look chewed up. I think it's common for the corners to get all chewed up.
Cool! The cockpit is so much better than the UR in terms of game play experience IMO. Post pics when you get it. And make sure that edge connector is in good shape so the board set keeps working!
In the "too big" category, is it because it doesn't break down into two pieces or just because of the real estate footprint?
I had a Pole cockpit about 10 years ago and I *easily* worked mine to break into two pieces. When it was together, no one could tell the difference. Pretty much, you just have to saw through the floor area since the top is in two pieces once you take the roofing off. After sawing through the floor, I put leg levelers on each end to make it sturdy, then cut out an access panel to get to the speaker wires. For the speaker wires, I just clipped them an put on a Molex connector. Screwed down the rectangle access panel and covered it with a new piece of rubber flooring.
It took maybe an hour or so to do, but it was really easy and when together, it was seamless.
Actually the problem it is too big is because soon we are going to paint and get new carpet for our basement and it would be a problem to move around even with the 2 haves. Thanks .

I dont want to have deal with the game if it brakes down it probably will!Is this the one posted in Wisconsin?
I would agree with the pricing. It scares some people off because of the size and the ability to consistently break down. LOL!
It's easy to move on carpet. The game is on casters. In fact, I use door stops to stabilize the game because it shifts around too easily.
