price check please: Williams Taxi

Awesome game IMO, I think everyone on KLOV got a taxi lately. It depends hugely on location/condition plus other factors. I'd pay a couple grand for a minty fresh one..

They sell all over the map though..probably looking at 800-1500 depending on condition I guess..

This is a project game being sold as-is. I've had it for over 2 years and haven't had time to work on it and I don't see this changing anytime soon so I'm looking to make room. From what I can see, it is missing the fuse board, the 7-digit meter diplay, backglass (it does have 2 translites though and the trim), small left metal habitrail, and taxi topper. What it does include is extra used ramps with some cracks, 2 translites, new taxi plastics set from CPR, new playfield decals from classic arcades, new ball shooter, manual, legs, and other small miscellaneous plastics. Again, the game is sold as-is but would make a nice winter project. I really don't want to part it out so hopefully somebody jumps on this.

I paid roughly $700 for mine, and when I got it home the 3/4player display and jackpot display stopped working on the drive.
I also bought new complete cabinet art and playfield decals on ebay to help refresh it.

I would probably sell it all for $750 right now if someone showed up with the money.

Hi I found a Taxi machine with M Monroe. Value? Something to own? Thanks toyman
I paid $600 for mine. It was really dirty, but cleaned up nice. There are a lot of parts available for it still. Mine is a Lola, and the Marilyn might add a little more value to it. Really boils down to condition. Definately a fast, fun machine.

By any chance did you buy yours at the Super Auctions about 4 years ago?

No, I bought mine from a local friend/operator who had it in storage for 5 years or so. Before that he had used it in his seasonal game room.
