Just wondering what these are worth. I put up a want ad on craigslist and someone responded saying that they had this game that has been sitting for a very long time. He says its in good working order but has scratches and scuffs, game play looks pretty lame but Im going to grab it if I get it for cheap. I got all excited when I first opened the pic and seen the orange, I thought it was a sundance

Actually, that game could be pretty fun! Have you ever played the Atari 2600 classic "Dodge 'Em?" It looks like this is practically the same game. It's like Pac-Man before there was Pac-Man.

If the one you listed is indeed fully working with a nice looking monitor, I think it is probably worth around $100, maybe a bit less. Early Sega/Gremlin games like that are not really sought after that much.

I say if you can get it for less than $100, go for it! A new coat of paint and a little cleaning could make that cabinet could look great. All the artwork and T-molding looks nice, so you wouldn't have to worry about replacing that.

Yeah Im going to grab it, Im sure I can get it for 40$, kill me now but it might make a good conversion , I dont know.

If you can get it for $40, go for it! But please don't convert it. Head On is a pretty rare game. You should try cleaning it up a bit and see if you like the gameplay. If not, you could easily make your initial investment back be re-selling the game.

Yeah Ill probably clean it up, Looks like the cab is solid and should be easy to make it nice. Dont worry I decided not to convert it, Ill play it for awhile, gotta love those B&W games.

Great game, deceptively difficult and high replay value.

Head On in this condition is pretty rare. Most of them were applied directly to someone's forehead.
The sideart is missing. They must have applied THAT directly to the forehead. After taking a running start from across the room.

Head-On is often cited as the first "get the dots in a maze" style game, which would put it ahead of Crash. Accuracy of those citing it is another question. Crash is a slower version of Head-On with some other minor differences.
