Price Check: Pacmania?

My area blows for their value right now. There was a Pac-mania sitting forever at $250. Finally disappeared. I think its a neat game, but sadly a $300 cool game.

I'd think it's around $400-450 as well. Pretty sure that as far as the late-80s Namco licensed Atari releases go that is the most common (excepting perhaps Assault).

Not that any of those titles are all that plentiful mind you...

Sadly, I just saw a PacMania in a guy's storage building going all to hell last weekend.

It hurt me, deeply. The marquee was still in fantastic shape. ugh

Okay, wow, thanks. I came across one locally for over 700 and it kind of scared me as I'd like to have one eventually and I never pay that much for cabs. That's not so bad, thanks!

I think the $700 range tends to get you closer to the Galaga 88 game.

Of the three:
Galaga 88= $600-$800
Pac-Mania= $300-$400
Dragon Spirit (ironically the coolest of the three)= $250-$300

I don't know bro... while I would love to get one for the price you have listed; I don't think it's happening - especially if the sideart is intact.

Just the PCB appears to be commanding some serious cash ($340 shipped!):

Wouldnt doubt it. Another case where the game is worth more parted out. Same as Hang-on, outrun, and space harrier to name a few others. Ghosts n Goblins and its sequel are getting right up there in that boat too.

Pacmania is a very under rated game. In my opinion its one of the best of the pac series.
Real world price for the pcb right now is around $150-$200 working. They dont come up for sale very often and usually sell quick. You tend to see more complete games than parts for them. That ebay auction is really surprising. There had been a pacmania board on ebay for about a year at around $300 and as far as I know it never sold.
I think I paid $300 for mine several years ago. It was in good condition and just needed the monitor recapped. They came with Sanyo 20EZ and mine had the typical foldover on the left of the screen.
If you can get one for less than $400 in good shape I would grab it. The game is fun to play and has great music and sounds.

Yeah, I definitely want one, just not $750 worth of want. It's always been one of my favorites on Namco Museum though I've never actually played it on a dedicated cab... great graphics and music.

I just paid 165 for a used marquee if that tells you anything and only the second one I've seen for sale in 6 months. I paid around 250 for mine missing the marquee.

U wanna pick up a spare marquee????PM me..I have one anybody can buy for less than 165...Not much less though lol..

Dragon spirit dedicated will go for much more than that. Galaga 88 probably too #klovfantasyprices

You'd be surprised. While Dragon Spirit is known to be somewhat hard to find, has some of the greatest artwork ever, and is a great game in itself, perspective buyers seem to kick the proverbial tires of this one.

The sad truth is prices are down, way down. And they are still dropping. The general public is being saturated with arcade games recently as people who had them are deciding they can no longer justify the bulky entertainment in their houses as the economy weakens. Great for buyers, not so much for sellers in a flooded market. Typical quarter munchers, jamma games, and many silver age classics are falling hard in value.

I'd say a Pacmania is typically a $300 game in average shape. Maybe a little more for Galaga 88 but not much. $800 for Galaga 88 is crazy.

It's not that out of line for a dedicated one in excellent condition. Maybe a hundo or two too high. Gotta keep in mind that they made <200 dedicated cabs.
