price check Pacman cocktail w/"Blown" tube

Haven't seen in person yet, but appears average condition and all original. It's a bit of a drive, but, I'd go for the right price.

Is $400 fair? If not, what is reasonable and what is a good deal?

Don't know you're location but i've seen some really nice working go for less.
Good working nice condition 400.00 would be at the very top. Most go for 350ish

$400 is a decent price for a fair condition fully working one. They used to go higher, but not so much anymore in the current economy. Personally, I won't pay over $100 for a non-working game with very limited exceptions. Pacs are so common this would not be one of them.

Does it play blind? If you want it and have the means to fix it then offer them whatever you feel comfortable offering but I personally wouldn't pay over $100 for it.

Offer him $200 and if he says no, keep in touch with him if he doesnt sell it. He might change his mind later on. I talked a guy down from $400 to $150 in one foul swoop, but when you flash cash in his face, its hard for them to resist.

Im willing to bet it has more than just a "blown tube". These games almost always have more wrong with them then the average joe knows about, at least from my buying experience. I'd offer $100 sight unseen. If he says no, $150 would be my max. But ultimately it comes down to what you personally are willing to spend.

Is this the one on Craiglist in San Diego, CA? That one has been listed for months. Why not just get the one in Stanton, CA for $500 working. Seller Kalan is a fellow klover and a great guy.

This one is located in Podunk, KY. 4 hour drive, so hardly worth it. I'll keep holding out for a better deal

Unfortunately since this machine is so common it is often owned/sold by people who have no idea what it is worth. Thats why you're likely to find plenty of Pacs and Ms. Pacs on ebay and Craigslist for upwards of $1k. Ironically, on CL, the ads often includes the words, "no lowball offers...I know what its worth", as they drop a $1300 price on a Ms. Pac. Its frustrating, as I too have been looking for a decent Pac/Ms. Pac for a while now. I guess it pays to be patient.

I picked up a non working ms. pac cocktail over the weekend for $200. That is the max I would spend since its non working. Its dirty as shit but will clean up nice. It needs the monitor fixed and pcb work. I've always wanted one of these machines and so it made it worthwhile to me.

I'd have a hard time buying something with a blown tube... Since you have no way of knowing if the board really works.

Midway cocktails in good condition are getting hard to come by for cheap. Most I see are $400+. If I saw one for $200 I would definitly buy it. I need one for my pac collection but refuse to pay the price people want for them. Then if I get a pac cocktail I need to get a Ms, and super cocktail to go with it....then cabaret versions. Enjoyvelvet, please dont sell me that cocktail :)

I sold 2 ms pacman cocktail units in nice shape and both worked last year for $700 each. Just keep on looking and you'll find one

Is a Super Pacman cocktail (all original, works perfectly, edges of cps a bit cracked) worth more? Or, I guess, what is a reasonable price for a working Super Pac-tail?
