original pac man dedicated cabinet. 7.0 out of 10 needs marquis sign and has the wave in the picture when the game is on. someone said it needs a humbee kit??

Original pac man dedicated cabinet 8.0 out of 10 has been gone over by a technician and has the 60 game assorted board added with an adapter so the original wiring is still there. I here that this is not good but I want to keep it original or would everyone suggest putting all new wiring??

Both have original monitor with slight burnin.

Trying to decide but there is a big price difference.

I'd go for the one with the wave. You can find a marquee for around $30, and if you replace the fuse holders you'll probably fix your wavy monitor problem.

Yes get the one that needs the work, its more rewarding when you fix and get it running and looking nice doing everything yourself

I just paid $500 for a decent Pac-Man.

It could use a cap kit (monitor brighter at the bottom) and some new t-molding, but other than that, it's in pretty good shape.

Upgrade kit

What is a reasonable price to upgrade it to a 60 all in one machine? I want to keep the original wiring to keep it original. I know that you can use an adapter to do this. What would you guys do? Keep the original wiring or put all new wiring in with the new board???

thx

If you are looking for something that is more original, then go with the fixer upper. Once working correctly, you will get more enjoyment out of it if you are not into the multigame thing. If you are, go with the other one. As far as the wiring goes on the second one, the 60 in 1 board that is probably in there has different wiring. It could have been installed without removing the original Pac-Man harness.

conversion.

110 pcb
5 3 buttons
45 adaptor and shipping
35 switching power supply

Looks like right about 200.00 bucks g/t a nickel.

That if you do it yourself.... If I was to bother with doing this for a stranger I would ask for at least a hundred for my time.

Installation

How hard is it to install the 60 in one by someone who is novice at this? And where is the best place to buy all the equipment? And what exactly do I need to buy?

Thanks
