Man, I used to play the shit out of that game. Havent seen/played it in YEARS but I bet it would work well in the lineup.
Yeah, but I'm kinda worried about it not being all that kid-friendly... ya know, shooting people and all...
Good call. I was probably 7 or 8 when I was playing it...

Seems a little harsh,its just a game.
Here are my points.
1) it's not kids friendly, but doesn't need to be. They can't reach the guns. If they can, they are old enough to play it.
2) I love the game and played the heck out of it. I got one myself in fact. It's awesome in the collection people come over and love to play it. In the current world of 3D gun games, this classic gun shooter holds up. The immersion is pretty awesome.
3) All gun games have low replay value.
4) it's a beast and sorta looks dated so you basically have to give them away. $250 tops for a nice once ... they aren't so common also

With Columbine, Batman, Tacoma, etc.- I'll err on the side of caution at 6 years old.
Stools in the gameroom allow him to reach everything, but your #2 is what keeps me flip-flopping back and forth...
However i think sheltering them in the world we live in is impossible.
