Hey guys I just wanted to get your opinions on this machine and the price. It's $550 or obo, I love this game but to me $550 is a little high considering the side art. This is the only picture I've got at this time.

What do you think?

It looks more like you are buying a tmnt that comes with x-men stuff in/on it.

500 is high. I'd try for 3 (If they know how the haggle game works, which to my amazement most people now days don't, I'd consider offering 250 off the bat). I'd hit buyer's remorse territory once we hit close to 4. But that's me and my experience.

Thanks guys and looking closely almost the entire side art is missing. I checked online and it seems the xmen side art is pretty hard to come by.

Xmen and TMNT are worth the most. TMNT TNT dunno. It's the most rare.
GI Joe is also worth alot since it's art is not available at all and has some really nice art.

Good strong condition they are worth $500 depending on all of the other factors. No issues. CPO, Monitor condition etc..

You can't guess the value by just a picture. Monitor burn is also an issue. Replacing that K7000 that has bad color and massive burn is going to cost like $150-200 unless you can find a good deal.

CPO's are the one major piece of art that has been reproduced. Sideart (zilch)

I got him to go down to $350, I may paints the sides black until I find side art for it. The screen is clear with no burn so its purely cosmetic which won't be a big deal.

Do not paint the sides black. Remove the X-men Artwork and clean the TMNT artwork that is underneath.

This is obviously a TMNT cab with a X-Men Conversion Kit installed over it. I bet the TMNT artwork is in great shape underneath. You probably even have the TMNT CPO underneath the X-men one too.

What's the best way to remove side art?

I also concur!

Taking a TMNT which is just as sought after and trying to take make it into a Xmen w/ non-dedicated Xmen side art is a bad idea.

That "side art" isn't side art at all.
Its a repo of the front panel art.

Awesome and I will not paint the sides black. ;)

So what's the easiest way to remove the X-Men side art?

Is xmen compatible with whatever harness tmnt used? You could have the best of both worlds with the suggested scenario. Dedicated tmnt with xmen. I am also sure you could use it as possible trade bait if you wind up desiring a legit xmen cab.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question but are you saying it could be possible to play both TMNT and X-Men on the same machine? I just start buying arcade machines so I'm still learning what you can do with em.
