Price Check on the two games

IIRC, "clowns" was called Circus on the Atari 2600. That was my dad's favorite game of all time. When my parents first got a 2600, he stayed up all night playing it. I played my fair share of it on atari too.

That is where I remember playing the game. There was an arcade game from Exidy namend Circus that is color. Oh, and the Atari 2600 game was Circus Atari if I remember correctly.

Hey Darryl, you found a game for me thanks bud!!!!!!!
Several months to a year back I was trying to figure out what game I had remembered playing around 7 years old.
This little liquor store had an asteroids and apparently the other was clowns.
could never remember the name.
I was calling it circus something.

sweet.

There was a Circus game as well Dylan. Cabinet was slightly different... I like both but the Exidy version had some cool relief design on the monitor plexi. The Bally cabinet is cool too...definitely not something you see everyday. It would look great next to my Boot Hill. I'd say $300 is about max but up to $500 for someone really wanting it....that's my take on it. How many are on vaps...prob not many.

On the doubles, it will really depend on wiether this is a genuine Atari or a clone. The Atari's are getting pretty rare and hard to find, probably worth some bucks, but most of the time youll find a clone, more common, and pretty cheap. Usually around $100 tops for a clone.

The Clowns game might be worth a few hundred or so if its mint and working. Worthless if its dead though. Ive seen one on the local CL for awhile now, trying to sell for under $100 and no takers.

Well I just picked up the CLOWNS and it does indeed work. I wasn't planning on kepping this but after I played it for about a half hour I decided to keep it for now. Very simple, but fun game. It is in pretty good condition for the age of the unit and is very clean inside with the paper work. Thanks for the feedback on the prices. The pong doubles is also a original atari and not a clone. Here are some pics of the CLOWNS if you want to see it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/djdns/

I guess time will tell. I have been selling games out of my personal collection to make room for other games I wanted instead. You can let me know when you come up this way. I might even have a different game that you could use at that time. Games seem to come and go every week for me. Check my wanted list to see if you have any games or parts I need.
