I'm in Myrtle Beach for the weekend and one of the pawn shops here is selling arcade games (overpriced mostly of course). They have a SF2 pin for sale. The tag says $1200 but I talked the guy down to $1000. The body of the machine is excellent as is the head and all displays work. It does have a non-working flipper and the slingshots don't work. The playfield needs to be cleaned (the plastic above the car can't be seen through). Mostle everything else seems ok. Normal use wear on the playfield.

What is this game worth fully working and in the condition described? Also, since I haven't really worked on pins how difficult would this one be to fix and maintain? Thnaks!

In the condition you described, 400-475, ive sold several of them and they bring 800-1000 in shopped out condition.

If you cant see the car below, then you have to expect it not to work.

Cool, thanks. I know the car doesn't work because when it goes to car crush mode it just gives you the points and moves on.

Well, if anyone has one in the NC area for sale let me know. Don't think the pawn shop guy is gonna come off that $1000.

For that price in that condition I would definitely pass. I got a working all the way SF2 in great shape for $500 a year or so ago. Granted I think I got a great deal but in that condition the most I would pay(personally) is $800 and much less for the shape you described. Not a bad pin but sounds like too much trouble for too much money.

Is now the time to mention that I completely smashed up 2 of these that were in perfect physical condition (minus the boards) and threw them in a dumpster (3 years ago) because we couldn't give them away for free?
