I've got a Ghosts'n Goblins game sitting in a Williams Joust cabinet with no sideart, a decent marquee, a scrapped up generic ROMSTAR CP overlay, and a 19" G07 with some serious screen burn in. With no person to really enjoy the feel for this classic challenge of a capcom game......

Lets say if I can get the tube swapped, the G07 recapped, CP overlay replaced, clean up the cabinet from head to toe (wires, buttons, and all).........Would would ya'll think that would go for?

I would guess for any work like that $500 would seem fair...
I want ya'lls personal opinion!

And if there is anyone interested in such a thing here at the KLOV?

Oh and by the way, the marquee is the ROMSTAR version. Looks a lot different than the one from the original dedicated cabinet.

I would say $150

Not going to bash you on that price, but I paid $150 for the cabinet in it's current working condition.

I'm asking what would be a fair buying price for a cabinet that is restored. That and/or I could find a Joust board set and fix her back up.

I guess you could say $500 sounds pricey lol. I just thought some of these Ghosts 'n Goblins boards were a rare find, as some of the board sets go for a high price on ebay.......when they are there.....

I could settle for $250-275 depending on whether I can get this thing looking snazzy. It plays wells though!

Lol a dedicated Joust cabinet would go for $500 ^_-

Yes the boards sell quite well on ebay. Ghouls & Ghosts boards get more.

If it was mine. I would prob covert it back to Joust if the cabs nice.
You could part that and use the money to help with the conversion.

Estimated cost.

Joust boardset $150
Control Panel $65-$75
Used harness?
New Harness $75

Is prob still has the original power block and transformer, and Ac Harness.

Does it still have the Joust Bezel. I have alot of Joust parts that I would make you a deal on if you decide to go that route.

Or you could go MultiWilliams???

Nice Joust sell around here for around $600-$750

Sadly no bezel. I was going to work out that glass, probably replace it because they just spray painted it to make a black bezel...................

I have 2 nice Glass Bezels but not sure how they would ship:eek:. If you decide to save that machine, and make it a Joust again. I would give you one, but you would need to take care of shipping!!

Are you sure they didnt just paint over the art on the joust bezel? If so you might be able to save it?

I'll have to poke around at it the next time I can get to it. I gotta double check if this tube is going to be compatible with that old G07 chassis.

I may set that aside as a WIP to bring it back to a Joust. Seems more fitting I suppose.

Besides touching up the cabinet.

I'd need a new CPO, Bezel, Marquee, Stencils for the Sideart, harness, new coin door.....they drilled a whole in it for a button, and thats not including the boardset lol. I hope this is worth it.........

I think the stencil set is around $75. I might have a CPO, but it might go to the rare optical joystick version. Coin doors pop up alot, not sure if I have a extra. A fully restored Joust would sell for more :)
