Price check on Escape From The Planet of the Robot Monsters

I am needing to know what Escape From The Planet of the Robot Monsters is going for? It is in great shape. Works and plays great. Nothing is wrong with it. Cabinet is in great shape.

I'd guess anywhere from $300-$500. It's not all that well known (although I find it really fun). Yours looks to be in awesome shape with the side art intact and the cool funky marquee, plus you have the correct Hall-effect joysticks. I bet you could get closer to $500 for it, but it may take you a while to find the right buyer, especially in these tough economic times.

Looks cool what kind of game is it?

Thanks for the help. Wasn't sure what it was worth. I am selling it. Hate to do it.

I've seen them go for as low as $100. But it's one of those cult classics - gotta find the right buyer.

I sold a working Escape From The Planet of the Robot Monsters to Francis awhile back (in 2007, I believe) for $400. Picked it up from Stephen (Mylstar) in trade....

The game had a nice marquee and almost perfect controllers. The boards were good, too. Aside from that, it was a solid C+.

I watched as Francis completely tore the game apart to pull out all the good pieces. LOL. All that was left was an empty carcass....and I couldn't even GIVE it away to anyone. It finally made it's way out to the dumpster.

So, the point was $400 for a working, sorta OK looking game in 2007.

I bet you can find them cheaper NOW.

Escape is a damn cool game. You don't see too may dedicated ones too much just the kit version.
I had 2 beefs with the game. One being just a quarter muncher and the other it was only really fun 2 player but it did have the classic atari music. I still love to get a dedicated Skulls & Crossbones myself!

don't listen do these guys. its worth way more than $400. I would say $600-$800. Rare game in the dedicated cabinet in very nice shape.

Your going to have to ebay it if you want to get reasonable money. I think you could part it out and get $400..

If people aren't paying $400 for the game, its not worth that.

Currently as it stands:

Millipede (w/ a multipede kit upgrade) - isn't worth $400 (its still in my garage)
Sanyo Monitor complete and working - isn't worth $125 (its still in my garage)
19" Med Res Tube - isn't worth $50 (its still in my office)

I'm tried of reading about what things are "worth". Worth = what people are willing to pay. Shit aint worth shit right now, heh.

I've wanted one for years -- have had several PCBs and H.E. sticks -- heck, I even had a NOS kit too but could never seem to have the parts when I had a spare cabinet to put it into. Too bad you aren't closer to Western PA or I'd be all over it.. Shipping is what is the dealbreaker for me on this one..

Good luck with the sale -- great game.
