found a local elvira and party monsters pin for sale as was wondering if 1700 would be a good price on a working pin. haven't looked at it yet.

well locally in Florida, we have had a lot of EATPM sell over the last year, and an average one, needing some TLC was probably around 1100-1200, beaters/players machines needing work like cab decals, displays, board work range from 600-800 and a fully restored example sold last year for 1600, and it was nigh on mint, with only a couple of little nicks, so depending on condition 1700 seems on the high side, but again depends if its a title you really want, good luck its a fun game!!!

2009 Pinball List & Price Guide has it's value set at $1600.00 I have bought a lot of machines in the past 20 years and you better look at it first. I just sold one about 3 months ago and got $1200 for it. Look for water damage and wood separation any flaking. I don't know what kind of shape you want to have it in when you are done with it but do your research before you buy and add it up and try to talk the seller down. If you just want a machine to play and are happy with the way it plays and looks go for it. Great web site is Marco Specialties. Very fun machine and it holds it value.

pickins are kinda slim around here this is probably the 3rd pin i have seen for sale within a 100 miles. i say this one is far from mint since its setting on site in a pizza place.

Almost weird that I'm this close. I have a very nice Elvira, working great, that I may sell for $1700. You are welcome to come by and play a game. Right here in Johnson City, TN.... 40 min or so away from you in Abingdon. Email me for more info if you like.

I can give you a contact for plenty of pins in the area. A GREAT dealer/operator in Norton, VA. Recently added to the JJP distributor list. The only reason I'm thinking of selling Elvira is that I need to make room for WOZ in the next few months. Either Elvira or a really nice RFM with Newcore, 22" LCD and all LEDs will be be for sale.

I have only seen one come up in the last 4 months in my area and I own it :) I paid 1250 for mine and it needed some repair and shopping. GL
