Price check on DE Star Wars

Sorry I don't want to ship. I would guess he is fielding offers and then may take the highest just before the auction expires.

Figured as much. As for the auction theory I'm pretty sure the offer expires after like 72 hours or somewhere around that. The auction has more like 10-11 days left.

EDIT: Yup: "... 12 hours 35 mins to respond to your offer." He only has aboot 35 transactions, may not know to reject or how.

This one might actually not be a bad one to get. Cabinet looks aight with relatively little fade (backbox chip missing aside). Playfield looks nice in pics at least. It was supposedly disassembled and cleaned. And would save me the hassle of installing Cliffys later. Of course when you're as anal as I am you're gonna find SOMEthing wrong. :/

Marc knows how to accept/reject trust me lol! I would send him a message and see if you can strike a deal with him.

Oh you know him? Tempting... but think I'll just see what happens. Not sure I want to go more than $100 more than the offer I made anyways (if that... it's hard to gauge condition from just pics, and I think my tops for a pristine machine would be $2100-2200 anywho).

The suspense is a killer though lol. :D

Ill let you know if its true but I think I know where a HUO is for $1800. I might be buying a lot of pins from this guy and this is one of them. I would buy it myself but I would let it slide to you if you wanted it.

If your interested at all please shoot me a pm. Ill let you know any info after that when I can.

Sending PM in a sec. But I won't know for about another 11 hours if the eBay guy is going to accept/reject/ignore. I assume since you work for a pin distributor that freight is no prob long as I pay for time/materials/freight charge?

And thanks btw. :D

Well shoot, Alky's lead wouldn't be through him or his employer so freight is likely out and thus so is that deal.

Still waiting on offer rejection, and on the lookout. :p

Hmph. Seller let the offer expire as expected. Sent another offer for $1 less lol.

Guy could at least counter-offer (he did for someone else who was making offers). Guess I'm not worth his majesty's time. Worst I can do is ignore his ass, but if he comes across with a reasonable counter I might go for it.

Not sure I even wanna deal with the guy if that is how he wants to play. :/

This is just my speculation of course, but I think Star Wars is such a strong license Stern is going to try to use that game as their Wizard of OZ killer. Right now I think they are in "planing" and wait and see mode. If the response to the new type game that Jersey Jack WOZ will introduce is overwhelmingly successful then Stern will have to come back with something just a strong. If the WOZ game is a flop (I don't think it will) then stern will go back to formula that has brought then successful game sales in the past.

Hmm I dunno. I wonder if Stern is really taking JJP seriously? Even if they are, do they really offer any significant competition?

Actually a Clone Wars pin could be cool... maybe, depends on if the art looks like something someone crapped out in Photoshop over the course of a two hour lunch.

Kspiff - actually I have just acquired a DE Star Wars pin here in South New Jersey that I am refurbishing. I should be done by the end of October and it will be up for sale, probably about $1900.00 or so. It will be very nice when I'm done. I just ordered about 575.00 in parts to shop it out. If you may be interested, let me know. You would have to arrange shipping.

Attached are pics as I got it, before any work.

Might be if nothing else comes up. But if I have to arrange shipping that may kill any potential deals, those full service freight companies are usually out for bunghole. :/

Yeah good luck making any headway with Marc Oradat on ebay or otherwise. I had contacted him about a Space Station he has, he refuses to provide pictures says its in the back of his warehouse (but its really nice!) wont give me a price or estimate on it, and I'm sitting here with a OMFG HAVE TO HAVE IT NOW mentality about this pin.

I guess he makes enough money to not give a shit enough to take liwer than hes asking or to take people seriously when they want to buy things he has, but hasnt done a 1500$ shop job on them.

He basically told me to contact him back in a few months. Maybe by december he will be out of 3000$ star wars and 4500$ family guys and will be bothered to deal with my 800-1200 machine....

I'm starting to think the guy is just fishing for $2900 or nothing on the Star Wars. Probably has another nicer one sitting around he plans to restore IF he can get rid of this one for at least $2900, and if not will just keep it. That kind of thing.

Oh, well, I'm sure I could do better anyways given a bit of time.

Stern are absolutely taking Jersey Jack seriously. They have done all kinds of stuff which is obviously motivated by the new competition like hiring Steve Ritchie.

Agreed, they are also peaking prices to with JJP. I mean no need to sell cheap pins anymore, good strategy if the market is willing to pay. I am afraid if JJP does not fly, prices will remain high, I also hope during a time of recession there are enough sales for the both of them. Although, it seems there are more NIB purchasers than I have ever noticed before with WOZ and TF coming out.
