I got these photos from a guy on Facebook who I know to be a nice fellow KLOVer but I am unsure about the asking price, but I'd really like to know the worth before throwing a counter offer for both of our sakes.

I don't trust those "value" books.

What's a non-working (board issue), rough, Crystal Castles worth?

Not sure if these are still accurate

Pictures below.

I feel like this one may come down to personal worth on both sides rather than physical worth as it does have a lot of issues. Thanks.

Additionally, I'm generally in the market for one, so this thread isn't like targeted at the seller or anything! :D If anybody has any estimates for a nice one feel free to post 'em!

I have a really nice one.I had listed it on here with no shipping. It sold twice to out of State people for $1000 quickly but I refused to ship.I since decided to keep it.Repro Marquee/cpo and the track ball was rebuilt.

Thanks, but a bit too rich for me. I'm sure it's nice. I'm pinching my pennies as I'd like to open a museum in 2018. This one (meaning Crystal Castles as a title wholly) is just higher priority because my girlfriend really wants one for us.

Out here a working , average condition one seems to be 500-600 with nicer examples going higher . The one your looking at wild prob be 300-400 out here but your local market may vary greatly
edit : was looking on my phone before and I'm now seeing the pics on my desk top screen - the one you're looking at is 200-300 tops .

I think someone got a great deal on that $750 one.

But I generally agree. That beat up one is probably $500-$600 and a nice one is typically $1000.

I'd say much less. The marquee light fixture is damn near impossible to find. Need the marquee frame and glass. Cab looks rough. No trackball, smoked glass. You don't want clear or plexi, but the proper smoked or it won't look right. That better be cheap, and where did all the missing parts end up?

Last srystal I sold was around $500 but that was about 6 years ago. Today I would think $750 area for a nice one. The one pictured is very rough. I would say $100-$200 max.
