Price check on a Ms. pacman/galaga arcade

Are you talking about the reunion cabs? They still go for bank. Over $1000. People with good money will pay good money for those cabs.

There are 2 versions. The cabaret (home) version has a 19" monitor and no coin slots. Around $1k used (though it's still listed new for $2700 on Costco's website).

The full size version has a 25" monitor and coin slots, and goes for a little more than $1k used.

Yeah I walked away happy. It only has a couple small scratches on the galaga side art. Thats it!!! I was originally just looking for a original ms pacman and then this popped up. Im a huge galaga fan as well....like it way better than galaxian.

Well as you know, finding either of those games for that price is hard work. Both in the same cab with great arts is even better.
I think I've head of people saying they don't like the 25" in there, but baaa! That's nit-pickin'. I play galaga and donkey kong on a 27" and I think its great.

Yeah im trying to find a donkey kong right now as we speak. Whats the going rate on those now in near mint shape?

I have a restored DK that I will probably put on CL first before eBay and I was hoping for $600, but in this unpredictable market, flooded with the Multi-games, the value may have dropped lower than that. It might be worth less to a KLOVer anyway, because KLOVers don't pay top dollar, but then it could be worth a lot more to someone in the public domain looking to start a game room or acquire a nostalgic arcade game.

Last week I saw a non-working Ms.Pac-Galaga on CL for $200.(I think there was a monitor problem).

I ended up getting the one with the 25 inch monitor and paid 600 and its in near mint condition.

Just out of curiosity, did you get the one that was on Craigslist in Ft. Lauderdale?: http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/vgm/1571574704.html

If so good score. I was looking at it pretty seriously. In fact if the guy hadn't been so bad about getting back to me I probably would have bought it. Still in the end I ended up getting frustrated and bought my galaga to go next to the Ms. Pacman I already have.

It was a hard decision though, whether or not to go with the reunion cab or dedicated cabs. I spent some time playing reunion cabs at DisneyQuest and decided I really did not like the 25" monitor; just too much to look at for me. And for galaga, I don't like having the joystick in the center. Still, great game though.

Regardless nice score.
