I have a spare set of Gorf boards/cage. This set does not work because the U3 custom chip is bad. There may or may not be other issues that need attention (maybe a bad cap or socket somewhere) but it's clean and complete and should be an easy fix (if anything needs fixing) except for that bad U3 custom chip. The other custom chip works.

My plan was to keep it as a spare for my Gorf, but I wanted get a price check just in case it's worth something lol.

There are two customs, two addressors and the SC-01. Those are the valuable parts. The SC-01 is getting to the crazy range.

I would keep it. A working boardset is getting into the $500 range. You still have many parts that are not cheaply replaced.

false. non-working or working, that rare AF Votrax SC-01 IC runs $200+ these days. good luck finding a complete set for under $500

People don't buy non-working SC-01's for $200.

Regardless, There are endless supplies of complete non-working for $200 but also plenty of fully working for $350-550, depending on where you get them.

www.gorf.info FB group has plenty of full sets for sale. Individual customs are harder to find.

Thanks everyone. I think with numerous hard to source or expensive components on there that I'll just keep the spare board set for parts. Hopefully I won't need any parts, but you never know with these old games.
