I am looking at a cocktail DK with messed up joysticks and some decent foldover on the monitor. Everything else is acceptable and working. Curious as to what is a fair offer to make on it.

I don't usually buy cocktails, but for some reason this one keeps calling out to me. I paid $200 for my last cocktail DK that was in a custom wood cab and HUO. That was a few years back and I am not keen on the cocktail prices or demand.

While not a DK Cocktail... I picked up a DK Jr Cocktail in Indianapolis a month back that was in fair-good shape (monitor needed a cap kit, one of the underlays is somewhat stuck to the glass because the glass was still wet when they cleaned it, joysticks don't always center, and the glass is fairly scratched up) for $100. The guy told me he had had an offer of $175 for it as well, but had already promised it to me for $100.

Cap kit and it is playable. Still trying to decide what I am gonna do about the glass.

I paid $160 for mine and just needed to cap the monitor and fix the CPU. I'd say between $150 and $350 for a working one in ok to great shape. I love mine.

I've seen a few of these (but not laid hands on one), and I have no idea how you play them with the controls vertical like that.

I'm surprised a Nintendo nerd and author of a Nintendo price guide called out for a price check...

for shame...
I'm not worried... just had to bust your balls...
if you don't know the value of something in your general intrests then I was curious the validity of on your opinion of PC10 game prices.

I bought my DK cocktail for $350 in July 2010.

I sold it for $350 in Nov 2011.

When I bought it, I was told that I was only the third person who owned it. You could tell, it looked pretty immaculate other than the 1P jump button which had been replaced.

I got used to those controls, believe it or not.
