I'm trying to figure out what omega race boards are going for now. I have 2 complete sets and 2 mother boards by them self. I have one set that is clean. was sold working 2 years ago but never tested. I have another complete set that is dusty and needs cleaning but is not ate up with acid. Its possible it might work. The other boards do have corrosion but not as bad as i have seen. So i'm trying to figure out what the going rate is. Thanks

Use to be $250-300 but the boards are in the process of being reproduced, I would think the price would be substantially less. I know I will be in for a nice new Minty Omega board once available.

Since the repro is going to cost around twice that, I don't see how it is going to have any influence on the price of an original working Omega Race board.

I stand corrected, I was not aware the repos would be that much. Thanks Matt

Working/clean - $200-$275 (depending on the motivation of the buyer.)
Untested/not working/spotless board - $75-$125 (never burnt, battery removed back in the day)
Untested/not working/all others - $0-$50 (depending on motivation of buyer.)

The Omega Race repro boards have been 'in the works' for ever.

Well, the market for working originals will remain strong then ;)

Sorry, to be clearer the bare main board is $145 and Riptor has assembled a parts kit for $125 so the total of $270 includes everything you need to build a new main board if you transfer the socketed chips and DACs from your old board. Or you can buy new RAMs / EPROMs / DACs from Riptor if need be.

The goal in reproducing it was not to mess with the originals but to enable the resurrection of machines whose main boards were beyond repair. You'll still need the original daughter board. That said, I think the price ended up being pretty reasonable.
