Anyone have any thoughts? Vector monitors are new to me so what could one expect to pay that is reasonable? I'm guessing they don't come up often?

Monitor on Ebay is not NOS

Did anyone else notice that the one on epay has had one of the transitor heat sinks changed and also is sporting an LV6100? Looks like some work has definitely been done...

Probably still a great monitor, but I hope the potential buyer notices these things and does not pay an inflated ($400+) NOS price.

Going price seems to be ~$350 for a used working 6100, and $500 up for NOS. You'll have a hard time finding a NOS monitor, though. If you're dead set on NOS, pick up whatever you can in the mean time, because you'll have plenty of time to save while you wait for one to turn up. Your game will be playable until you find the perfect monitor, and you'll absolutely get your money back out of the used one.

This stuff isn't getting any more common.

Or I guess you could go the VectorVGA route in the interim.

I called fowl on the one on EBAY, He responded that the crt was NOS, even that might be a stretch since I think it says remanufactured on the white label. I think whoever gets that will be in for a surprise.
