Owner claims the game was working until a power outage hit and then the game stopped working. He stated he never looked into it and could be a fuse. What would you offer for the game?

Dedicated? maybe $125-$150 tops if it had nice art. $50 max if in some crappy converted cab.

How much does the guy have the game for sell for?

It allso matters of the shape the cab is in. I would say between 150 to 200 would'nt be out of the question.

Comes in a 19" and 25" version. Art tends to fade badly on it. If the art was pristine and not faded, I don't think I'd figure it not coming on into the price much. They always need work, huh.

I'd grab it...then again, I tend to overpay for games. Itd probably be easy to grt running again...either a new power supply or a working boardset oughta get it working again, unless its the monitor. If you pass, please pm me the details. If the cab is cosmetically better than what i've got, I might upgrade.

Clean, working all the way with the 25" monitor dedicated cab, $500.

All of the above but not working, if the guy's being honest $300 is fair. Could just be a power supply, $30 or less and you've got a $500 machine.

$350 is what I paid for mine - and it may have been yours at one time... Nevertheless, it was a sweet deal :)

If you got it from Robochronic, then yes, it was mine at one point :)

That went through the KLOV family and the price stayed the same through 3 sales, which I thought was WAY cool.

$300 seems high, especially since it doesn't work. $200 is more in line.

By "doesn't work", what does he mean? Does it play blind, or is it dead? I know when I bought mine it was dead, and the cheapie original power supply was shot. That, and the K7000 monitor had a bad flyback. Every Smash TV I've seen has had a K7000 - so plan on a flyback at least (if it still has the original one with the white knobs).

Also, the marquee on this game fades big time.

Picked up the game last night and it's in decent shape. After opening the back door I found the fuse was blown and the varistor was also. I replaced both and now the game powers up and plays. Onto my next issue, the graphics are not complete in some areas. Check out the attached pictures of what's going on. I also noticed from the inside of the that the upper part of the cabinet was made from a black night pinball and another one that I'm not sure of. I guess Wiliams Just threw them together with what ever they had at the time.

I would appreciate any help with this issue. I would like to have it fully working by the 4th of July as I'm having some family over.

Thanks,
John

I would reseat and clean the rams and all chips on it.

Lots of old (new) cabs that didn't sell were chopped up and made into other games. Kinda cool I think.

heh john....

great score on that smash tv man. do you have any photos of the cab? seems like those games are always faded on one side or the other (including the marquee too).

one of my all time fav 2 player games. wish i had mo' room for one. always outta room :(

Sorry forgot to mention I re-seated the roms and also checked the voltage which was ok.

It is cool to see some pinball art inside the cab : )
